{% endcontent-ref %}

# Invite/Referral System

#### Overview

The Referral Program allows users to invite new users into the platform and earn rewards based on their activity.\
It is designed to support organic growth, reduce marketing costs, and encourage long-term community participation.

#### How It Works

* Each user receives a unique **referral code / referral link** after registering.
* New users can join the platform by:
  * Signing up via a referral link, or
  * Entering a referral code during registration.
* Once used, the referral relationship between the **referrer** and **referee** is permanently recorded.

#### Rebate Rewards

* Referrers earn a rebate based on the **transaction fees** generated by their referees.
* The rebate rate can be set by the referrer, up to **30%**.
* The rebate rate is fixed at the time the referee enters the referral code.

> **Example:**
>
> * If a referee pays $100 in transaction fees and the rebate rate is 30%,\
>   the referrer receives $130
> * If the rebate is split 15%– 15%, both referrer and referee receive $15 each.

#### Claiming Rewards

* All earned rebates are shown in the user’s **Referral Summary**.
* Users can claim their rewards at any time.
* Reward history is stored in the user profile for transparency.

#### Play Party Bonus

The Play Party feature rewards users for playing together.

* If both the referrer and referee join the same tournament:
  * When the referee earns **Fan Points (FP)**,
  * The referrer receives an extra **10% FP bonus** based on the referee’s reward.

> **Example:**
>
> * A referee earns 100 FP in a tournament.
> * The referrer receives an additional 10 FP.

Rewards are distributed together with tournament rewards.

# Economy

The Fansports.fun economy is designed as a **closed-loop, skill-based digital ecosystem** that rewards user participation, competitive performance, and strategic gameplay.\
At its core, the economy revolves around **Fan Points (FP)** and **Packs**, which together drive engagement, asset creation, and value circulation within the platform.

### **1. Core Economic Loop**

The Fansports.fun economy operates through the following continuous loop:

> **Build or Trade Lineups → Join Tournaments → Win FP → Open Packs → Receive Assets → Improve Lineups → Re-enter Tournaments**

This loop ensures that player activity continuously fuels the creation, distribution, and utilization of in-game assets.

### **2. Lineups and Player Assets**

Users participate in the ecosystem by owning and managing **Player Cards**, which are digital in-game assets.

These Player Cards are used to:

* Build competitive **lineups**
* Enter **tournaments**
* Generate performance-based rewards

Player Cards can be obtained through:

* Opening Packs
* Trading with other users (where enabled)
* Special events or rewards

The strength and rarity of Player Cards directly impact a user’s competitive performance.

### **3. Tournaments and Competition**

Users deploy their lineups in **skill-based tournaments** linked to real-world sports performance.

Each tournament:

* Has predefined scoring rules
* Ranks users based on the performance of their selected players
* Distributes **Fan Points (FP)** to top-performing participants

FP is the **primary reward unit** of the Fansports.fun economy.

### **4. Fan Points (FP)**

Fan Points represent a user’s success in gameplay and act as the **economic engine** of the platform.

FP can be used to:

* Open Packs
* Access premium tournaments or game modes (if applicable)
* Unlock progression features

FP is:

* Earned only through gameplay and competition
* Not a real-world currency
* Not withdrawable unless explicitly stated in a specific game mode

This ensures the economy remains **skill-driven rather than pay-to-win**.

### **5. Packs and Asset Generation**

**Packs** are the primary mechanism for introducing new Player Cards into the ecosystem.

Users spend FP to open Packs.\
Each Pack contains a randomized set of Player Cards, with varying:

* Rarity
* Power
* Utility

This system:

* Creates continuous demand for FP
* Controls the supply of new assets
* Ensures ongoing progression for both new and experienced players

### **6. Trading and Market Activity**

Where enabled, users may trade Player Cards with each other.

Trading allows:

* Optimization of lineups
* Redistribution of assets
* Player-driven valuation of in-game assets

The market is fueled by:

* Cards generated from Packs
* Demand created by tournament performance

This creates a **self-sustaining player economy** based on strategy, competition, and supply-demand dynamics.

### **7. Economic Balance**

The Fansports.fun economy is designed to be:

* **Deflationary in FP** (Fan Points are continuously spent to open Packs)
* **Expansionary in assets** (new Player Cards enter through Packs)
* **Competitive in rewards** (FP is earned only by outperforming others)

This ensures:

* Long-term sustainability
* Constant gameplay incentives
* A fair and skill-based progression system

# Interactive blocks

# Integrations

# Card Package

**Player Pack Opening** is a core feature of FanSports.fun that allows users to spend **Fan Points (FP)** to open randomized **Player Packs** and receive **Player Shares**.

Player Shares represent a user’s level of ownership in a football player.\
The number of Shares directly influences:

* Tournament performance
* Ranking points
* Reward distribution across competitive events

This mechanism introduces both strategic decision-making and excitement through randomness, while maintaining measurable value through Share quantities.

***

#### 2. Pack Structure

Each Pack contains **4 Player Cards**, with randomized players and Share amounts depending on the Pack type.

| Pack Type | Pack Price | Player Cards | Total Shares Range |
| ----------------------- | ---------- | ------------ | ------------------ |
| **Pro Pack**            | 125 FP     | 4            | 31 – 46            |

| **World Cup 2026 Pack** | 500 FP     | 4            | 124 – 184          |

> Each Pack guarantees the number of player cards and Share ranges as defined above.\
> Player selection remains randomized within supported leagues and events.

***

#### 3. Pack Purchase Flow

The Pack Opening process is designed to ensure transparency and usability:

1. **Pack Selection**\
   The user selects a desired Pack type.
2. **FP Balance Validation**
   * The system automatically checks the user’s available Fan Points.
   * If the FP balance is insufficient, the **Purchase button is disabled**.
   * If the FP balance is sufficient, the **Purchase button becomes enabled**.
3. **Pack Purchase & Opening**
   * The user confirms the purchase.
   * FP is deducted instantly.
   * The Pack is opened immediately.
4. **Result Display**\
   After a successful purchase, the system reveals the rewards in a dedicated result screen.

***

#### 4. Pack Opening Result Display

Once a Pack is opened, the interface displays the full reward details received by the user.

#### Information Shown to the User

**Pack Summary**

* Total combined value of the 4 Player Cards

**Per Player Card**

* Player image
* Player name
* Playing position (e.g., GK, DEF, MID, FWD)
* Number of Player Shares received

All rewards are instantly added to the user’s account and become available for:

* Squad building
* Tournament participation
* Trading within the Player Share marketplace

***

#### 5. Economic Role

Player Packs act as a primary **FP sink** within the FanSports.fun economy, ensuring:

* Continuous utility for Fan Points
* Fair distribution of Player Shares
* Sustainable player circulation across the ecosystem

This system balances randomness with defined economic boundaries, supporting long-term platform growth and competitive integrity.

# Player Swaps

# Player Shares

**Fansports.fun** focuses on featuring high-quality players from Europe’s top competitions, including the **English Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, and Ligue 1**. This ensures a strong competitive environment and meaningful strategic depth across the platform.

The core design goal is to maintain a constant **sense of opportunity**—every player selection should feel capable of winning, regardless of popularity or market size.

As the platform evolves, the player pool may expand based on **community demand** and overall platform development. In the future, Fansports.fun plans to introduce a **Scouting System**, allowing the community to actively influence which new players are added to the game.

### Shares, Supply & Contracts

* Each player has a **maximum supply of 25,000,000 shares**
* Players are introduced with an **initial supply** allocated at launch
* All player shares are **only tradable on the Fansports.fun Marketplace**
* Every player starts with **4 contracts** when first purchased

This structure ensures controlled supply, transparent trading, and consistent gameplay mechanics across all users.

# Player Packs

### 1. What are Legendary Players?

**Legendary Players** are iconic football legends who have been globally recognized throughout the history of the sport.

In FanSports.fun, Legendary Players do not directly participate in matches. Instead, they are added to a player’s squad to **provide stat-boosting effects**, enhancing the overall performance of active players in specific tournaments.

### 2. Legendary Player Boost Mechanism

Each Legendary Player comes with **unique boost effects** inspired by their real-life legacy and playstyle.

Boosts may:

* Apply to the **entire squad** or specific player roles (FWD, MID, DEF, GK)
* Trigger based on **in-match events** such as goals, assists, clean sheets, or saves
* Grant bonus points or **reduce penalty points**

#### Main Boost Categories

* **Offensive Boosts**
* **Playmaking & Control Boosts**
* **Defensive & Goalkeeping Boosts**

> The full list of Legendary Players and their specific boost effects may be updated and published separately as part of game documentation.

### 3. Pack Structure

Each Pack contains **4 Player Cards**, with randomized players and Share amounts depending on the Pack type.

| Pack Type | Pack Price | Player Cards | Total Shares Range |
| ----------------------- | ---------- | ------------ | ------------------ |
| **Pro Pack**            | 125 FP     | 4            | 31 – 46            |

> Each Pack guarantees the number of player cards and Share ranges as defined above.\
> Player selection remains randomized within supported leagues and events.

### 4. Boost Activation Conditions

Legendary Player boosts are applied only when **all of the following conditions are met**:

* The boosted player is included in the **Liveup list**
* The match takes place within **World Cup competitions**
* During the match, the user does **not sell more than 10% of the shares** they hold for that player
* The player remains in **Active status** throughout the match

### 5. Characteristics of Legendary Players

#### 5.1. Player Cards

* Legendary Player cards feature **distinct visual designs**, including multi-color backgrounds or animated effects
* These designs clearly differentiate Legendary Players from standard players

#### 5.2. Shares & Supply

* Legendary Players are minted with shares and liquidity pools, similar to regular players
* Due to their legendary status, total supply is **limited**, resulting in higher market value
* Players can acquire Legendary Players through:
  * Marketplace trading
  * Opening packs (Gold Packs or Legendary Packs)

#### 5.3. Contracts

* Contract and renewal mechanics for Legendary Players are **identical** to those of regular players

### 6. Squad & Legendary Player Limits

Tournaments follow a **Seasonal and Event-based model**, allowing flexible deployment across:

* Major international tournaments (World Cup, Euro, Copa America)
* Club competitions (Champions League, domestic leagues)
* Special football events

# Tournament Scoring - Basics

### Design Philosophy

The **Fansports.fun** scoring system is built to reflect how **fans naturally judge player performances**.

When watching a match, supporters instinctively know which actions deserve applause and which mistakes cause frustration. Our system is designed to capture that same intuition.

Players are scored based on the **expectations of their position** (GK, DEF, MID, FWD), not just raw statistics. A good performance looks different for each role on the pitch.

We will continue refining the system, but our core goal remains the same:\
**scores should feel natural, intuitive, and aligned with how most fans perceive the game**. Performance is subjective, and opinions will vary - but we aim to stay as close as possible to the consensus view.

### Position Examples

**Goalkeepers**\
Rewarded for clean sheets, saves, commanding their area, and good distribution. Mistakes significantly reduce scores, even in a clean sheet win.

**Defenders**\
Clean sheets matter, but defenders who tackle, intercept, and contribute in build-up play score higher than those with a quiet game.

**Midfielders**\
Expected to influence the match overall. Goals and assists boost scores, but all-round involvement is key.

**Forwards**\
Goals are important, but efficiency matters. Clinical finishers and forwards who contribute to overall play score higher than those who miss big chances.

# Rewards

# Scoring Matrix

### Match Snapshot

When a tournament match **kicks off**, the system takes a **snapshot** that records:

* All players participating in the match
* The number of shares held for each player at kickoff

This snapshot is the **only reference point** used to calculate player scores once the match ends.

**Key rules:**

* A snapshot is taken **once per match at kickoff**
* Players may be sold after kickoff without affecting scoring
* Players added **after kickoff**:
  * Do not receive points for that match
  * Still consume **1 contract**

### Player Scoring

After the match concludes, official data is synced and player scores are calculated based on:

* Match result
* Individual in-match performance

**Scoring eligibility:**

* Player status must be **Active**
* Player must have **at least 1 contract** at kickoff

**Special cases:**

* **Benched players** receive a Player Score of **0**
* If a player’s contract expires **exactly at kickoff**, their Player Score is still calculated and included in final tournament results

# FAQ

<details>

<summary>Q1. When are contracts deducted during a tournament match?</summary>

When a tournament match starts, 1 contract is deducted from every player included in your active lineup.\
Contracts are deducted only once, right before kickoff. If you add a new player to the lineup before the match starts, that player will also lose 1 contract. Buying contracts after the match has started will not apply to that match.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Q2. How are player scores calculated after a match?</summary>

After the match ends, the system processes official match data and calculates player scores based on match results and in-game actions such as goals, assists, passes, defensive actions, goalkeeper saves, and errors.\
Scores also include Bonus Points for wins or draws, depending on the competition. Extra time is counted, but penalty shootouts are excluded.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Q3. What is the Tournament Squad Cap and how does it work?</summary>

The Tournament Squad Cap defines the maximum number of active players whose performance is counted toward tournament scoring (maximum 90 players). If more than 90 eligible players are available, the system will automatically prioritize players based on match data availability and recent performance, unless the user manually adjusts the lineup.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Q4. What do I receive when purchasing an FSP Pack?</summary>

Each pack contains 4 players, and for each player, you receive 500 shares. These shares can be used immediately for squad building, trading, and tournament participation within Fansports.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Q5. What do I receive when opening a Player Pack?</summary>

When opening a Player Pack, users receive 4 randomized Player Cards, each containing a specific number of Player Shares. The total value, player details, positions, and Share amounts are displayed immediately after the pack is opened.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Q6. What happens if I don’t have enough Fan Points (FP) to purchase a Pack?</summary>

If the user’s FP balance is insufficient, the purchase button will be automatically disabled. Once the balance meets the required Pack price, the purchase option becomes available.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Q7. What is the difference between Active and Substitute player status?</summary>

Players set as **Active** will have their match performance counted in tournaments and will consume one contract after completing a match. Players set as **Substitute** will not earn points and will not consume contracts.
