Tiebreakers & Edge Cases
This page is updated on an ongoing basis as new edge cases and scenarios are identified.
Match Status Updates
If a match is cancelled or postponed after kickoff, players keep the score earned up to that point.
If the match is replayed within the same tournament window, the higher score from the two matches will be used.
Scoring Rules
Players who play under 45 minutes receive half of the win/draw bonus.
Scoring counts through Extra Time, but excludes penalty shootouts.
Winning and scoring a penalty grants goal points only, no assist points.
Clean sheet bonuses apply to the team, even if a player is subbed off before conceding.
Tie-Breaking
Scores are recorded to two decimal places.
Ties are broken by the average score from the last 5 matches.
If still tied, the winner is decided at random.
Rewards
If fewer than 5 eligible players are available in a tournament, unfilled TP rewards are not distributed.
Example: With only 3 defenders, rewards for 4th and 5th place are forfeited.
Bench Rules
If more than 90 players are eligible and no bench is set, the first 90 players to appear on the pitch are selected.
When matches start simultaneously, selection follows the order of Opta data updates.
If multiple players are from the same match, priority goes to the player with the better 5-match average.
